At the promotional price of USD99.99, smartphone users who fancy using the Windows Operating System (OS) for their smartphones can take advantage of Verizon Wireless' offer on HTC One (M8) smartphones available now in its stores across US. The 'exclusive' offer by Verizon comes with a two-year contract.

According to Verizon Wireless, the company is offering the popular HTC One (M8) model on the Windows Phone 8.1, with the entire range of features provided on the Windows OS including Cortana, the personal digital assistant, equivalent to Apple's Siri, which will be assisting users on their phone navigation, applications and services via reminders, voice instructions and notifications.

In its statement, Verizon Wireless said that apart from giving their subscribers the choice of having the Windows OS, the HTC One M(8) powered by Windows Phone 8.1 comes with the Action Center, which enables users to view and manage their notifications effectively, the Live Tile background images customization feature and a selection of more than 300,000 apps on the Windows Store. In addition, Verizon Wireless' MORE Everything subscribers who activate or upgrade to a new smartphone with at least 1 GB of data will get an extra 1 GB of bonus data per month for up to 24 months, as long as that smartphone remains active on the MORE Everything plan, added Verizon Wireless.
