Vodafone Spain this week launched its new television device under the name Vodafone TV 4K Pro, the new digital home entertainment center.

The new decoder has unique characteristics that position it as the center of digital home entertainment since it combines all the functionality under the same device, including:

 - Premium quality speaker built into the decoder itself: developed acoustically by the Danish company Bang & Olufsen, when used with a television it sounds like a state-of-the-art, high-definition sound bar.

 - Voice control of Vodafone TV through 4 high-tech built-in microphones located on the top cover of the equipment

 - Amazon Alexa: Amazon Alexa functionalities are also built into this device, with responses on the customer's own TV screen.

 - Music playback: by asking Alexa on streaming services, including Amazon Music Spotify and Deezer. For example: "Alexa, put rock on Amazon Music." Plus, 90 days of Amazon Music Unlimited are included in the rate.

 - 4K HDR image quality , to provide optimal image quality by adding a greater dynamic range of light and colors, bringing it closer to reality.

This new equipment has been manufactured by Sagemcom specifically for Vodafone. Sagemcom has the experience of having developed the advanced decoders used for the Vodafone TV service both in Spain and in other countries, which guarantees their perfect integration with the service.

Vodafone TV 4K Pro is part of the television voice control strategy initiated by the company with the launch of the remote control in January 2019, followed by the Átika smart speaker in November 2020. The new decoder integrates the capabilities from Átika and a decoder in a single, smaller device, maintaining the design of its predecessors.

Vodafone TV 4K Pro stands as the highest-end decoder within the Vodafone portfolio, and is available to all convergent customers and only fiber for a monthly fee of € 5 / month.
