Banglalink Rolls Out 3G Service to All 64 Districts

Banglalink, the  2nd largest mobile telecom operator in Bangladesh with over 29 million subscribers, and a subsidiary of Netherlands based Vimpelcom, has recently announced that it has commercially expanded its 3G services in all 64 districts of the country.

In conjunction with the achievement, the company organized a celebration that was attended by its senior leadership team and officiated by Banglalink's CEO Ziad Shatara. Banglalink also came up with a time limited promotion for its subscribers, giving away free messaging and data plans of '64' - 64MB facebook, free 64MB whatsapp, free 64MB internet, free 64 MMS (banglalink-banglalink), and free 64 SMS (banglalink-banglalink).
