Swisscom has partnered with Europäische Reiseversicherung ERV to launch its new 'Easy Travel Insurance Day' offer, a travel insurance customers can take out flexibly on a daily basis – for CHF 1 per day.

Swisscom customers can also surf the Internet with more peace of mind thanks to new 'Easy Cyber Insurance', said the Operator.

Swisscom has also launched its “Easy Travel Insurance Year” product for individuals and families. The payment method for this is new and unusual as “Easy Travel Insurance Year” is billed monthly. After expiry of the minimum 12-month contract period, the contract can be terminated at any time under observance of a notice period of 60 days to the end of the month.

Cybercrime is on the rise worldwide. In addition to governments and companies, residential customers are increasingly targeted by fraudsters: Swisscom’s security experts fend off over 3,000 attempts to attack its infrastructure every hour. Internet Guard, which is free for all customers, provides 8 million warnings against access to infected websites or links sent in fake mails each year. Increasingly sophisticated and difficult to detect, some fake e-mails or websites are hard to distinguish from the originals.

The insurance also scores highly with additional, customer-friendly conditions such as monthly billing. The contract can be terminated at any time after the minimum 12-month contract period under observance of a notice period of 60 days to the end of the month. The insurance product applies to the household insured by the customer, regardless of whether this is a family home, a couple living together or a shared flat.
