At the recently concluded GSMA Mobile 360 Asia: Digital Societies event in Kuala Lumpur, The Fast Mode spoke to Vincent Kadar, Chief Executive Officer of Telepin on the proliferation of mobile financial services and mobile money services.
Among the topics discussed include the proliferation of smartphones and how this is pushing the take up of mobile financial services for both unbanked and banked populations across the world, the opportunities available to service providers in this space and the changing stance on trust issues associated with the adoption of mobile financial services. At the event, Vincent delivered a keynote address titled ‘Digital Commerce is Essential for Now and the Future’.
