Verizon Australia recently announced an agreement with NBN, making it one of the first global communications technology providers to provide NBN sourced business connectivity services to Australian enterprise and government customers.

Verizon’s enterprise customers will continue to be able to take advantage of the company’s entire suite of Managed Network Services - including Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Virtual Network Service (VNS) bundles - with Enterprise Ethernet connectivity directly sourced from NBN’s enterprise-grade infrastructure.

NBN was established in 2009 to design, build and operate Australia’s wholesale broadband access network. Currently, more than 590,000 businesses on a range of products and services over the nbn access network to support their unique voice and data needs.

Verizon’s agreement with NBN marks yet another milestone for the business in Australia. Verizon has provided managed network and security services to enterprise and government customers in Australia for over 20 years.
