The Vivaldi browser which has only been available on desktop, is now available on Android. The new beta version is packed with unique features and ready for daily use, says the Company which was co-founded by Opera’s former CEO Jon von Tetzchner.

Vivaldi prides itself in privacy and security, aiming to give users something fresh, credible, and secure. The company lists the following features of the new mobile browser;

•    Every user is different – This is the reason we're extending our "fully featured" approach to mobile browsing, unlike other browsers. The app has features like Panels, Speed dials, Notes and Capture. We'll be adding more.

•    We don't track you – Vivaldi runs on the latest version of code while at the same time we create our own alternatives to what Google has provided in their web browser core on Android – we don't use Google's web browser core built into Android. That means the same privacy and security properties, as well as independent features you've come to expect from the Vivaldi browser on desktop.

•    Your data is safe – Our Sync implementation does not use the Google Sync server. That ensures that our end-to-end encrypted Sync feature won't be sending any data to Google. The encryption happens on your device, allowing you to use a password that is never sent to us. As long as your password isn't compromised, your data can't be decrypted by anyone else other than yourself.

•    We don't build profiles – We believe in customisation, not personalization, the latter being a major reason for data breaches.
