Etisalat this week launched its ‘Roam Like Home’ (RLH) service, which enables Freedom postpaid customers to continue enjoying local allowances while travelling outside the country.
With Etisalat’s new roaming options, customers can choose from three types of weekly passes - Data only at AED100, Voice only at AED200, or Voice & Data at AED250. The plan is only valid upon the first time usage, so customers can purchase the roaming passes before they travel overseas. The passes are not renewed automatically, so customers will need to re-purchase them upon expiry.
The new plan covers roaming with any of Etisalat’s preferred roaming partners in 120 different countries including the US, UK, Brazil, Sri Lanka, India, Japan, Indonesia, Australia and most European countries. It also includes in-flight roaming services.
Freedom postpaid customers with an active roaming service can subscribe through the My Etisalat UAE app, by dialing *177#, by SMS, or by calling the customer care centre or visiting the nearest Etisalat business centre.
