Ukrainian mobile operator lifecell this week announced that it is the first to offer cashback for customers buying mobile data roaming plans.

The cashback feature will be available on its existing service 'Roaming Online' as well as on its recently launched 'Roaming Online PLUS'. The new offer allows subscribers to get twice as much data, up to 4GB on these plans, with the cashback being credited to a bonus account.

This effectively reduces the price of both plans by 100 UAH and 150 UAH respectively. The updated 'Roaming Online' service operates in 78 countries including Turkey, Egypt, Spain, Portugal, USA, China, UAE and Thailand.

Under the new 'Roaming Online PLUS' 2 GB for 350 UAH plan, subscribers will receive a cashback of 100 UAH as bonus. For the 4 GB for 600 UAH plan, subscribers will receive a cashback of 150 UAH. Roaming online PLUS is available in 43 countries including Poland, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, France, Romania, Greece, Israel, Austria, Lithuania, Georgia and Moldova.
