Telenor Myanmar recently expanded their non-stop data roaming service to Malaysia and Singapore, two countries that Myanmar users travel frequently.

The worry-free roaming promotion was first introduced early this year for visitors to Thailand with just 999 Kyats($US0.65) for 3 days and with the new extension, the service is now available in three foreign countries.

The subscription method is exactly the same to that of roaming pack for Thailand. Both Telenor prepaid and Star postpaid customers can activate the promotion on MyTelenor App or via SMS. Once subscribed, the package will be valid for 3 days (72 hours) and for each day, the users will be able to browse the internet with the fastest possible speed for the first 1 GB. Despite of the 1 GB allowance has been consumed for that day, users will be able to browse the internet with the speed of 512 Kbps by which they still can check their emails and social media accounts without having to pay extra.

With a growing list of available countries and roaming partners, Telenor makes it easy and affordable for all customers to stay connected when travelling, or with family and friends in other countries. Currently, Telenor Myanmar subscribers can use roaming services with 171 partners in 125 countries. Telenor’s 4G roaming service is currently available in China, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, UAE, Canada, Macau, Taiwan, New Zealand, Sweden, Belgium and Norway, and more destination will later be added on the list. Subscribers of 227 operators from 134 countries can use their overseas SIMs with Telenor network in Myanmar.
