AT&T announced plans to grow its mobile 5G device lineup with 2 new 5G smartphones from Samsung in the first half and second half of 2019
This 5G smartphones will give customers on a compatible plan access to the 5G network that it plans to introduce before the end of 2018, says AT&T. This is the second and third mobile 5G device AT&T has announced after it unveiled the NETGEAR Nighthawk 5G Mobile Hotspot.
AT&T said it has installed the latest mobile 5G network equipment in areas in the 12 markets where it plans to make 5G available in 2018. The Operator added that it is also on track to offer the world’s first mmWave mobile 5G device this month.
The second smartphone from Samsung will be able to access both 5G mmWave and sub-6 GHz spectrum.
