M1 announced that corporates can now subscribe to M1’s cloud-based video surveillance service on M1 Fibre Broadband.

In today’s digital economy, businesses are constantly trying to keep up with technology while balancing out implementation costs. To help businesses and small-and-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with the adoption of digital technologies, M1’s new cloud-based video surveillance service offers a refreshingly simple, flexible and cost-effective video surveillance solution for businesses.

The subscription and cloud-based video surveillance service is a secure end-to-end fully integrated solution that enables business owners to focus on growing their businesses, while M1 provides the surveillance technology to help them self-monitor and safeguard their business assets, as well as track business activities.

With a low initial set-up fee, hassle-free equipment maintenance, as well as round-the-clock in-house technical support and helpdesk services provided by M1, this surveillance service enables companies to have access to high-definition video footages conveniently at a low cost. All video data are stored and processed in a private cloud in M1’s data centre that comes with enterprise-grade security, and users can remotely view, record and manage their videos over the Internet anytime, anywhere.

In addition, M1 has partnered Hikvision, one of the world's leading provider of video surveillance products and solutions, to provide a range of high-definition indoor, outdoor and zoom cameras that best suit the needs of each business. To provide added value to customers, M1 will be collaborating with partners to support video analytics with artificial intelligence capabilities.

Willis Sim, Chief Corporate Sales and Solutions Officer, M1
We are always excited to create smart business solutions which offer great value and reliability to our customers. This new video surveillance service will provide business owners, such as in the retail and F&B space, to have a peace of mind even when they are away from work.
