South Korea's LG Uplus announced that it has completed the cell planning for the launch of 5G services in Seoul and some other metropolitan cities in December, The Korea Times reported.

In March, Forsk, an independent software company providing operators and vendors with wireless network design and optimisation product, announced it has completed a new Atoll deployment project for LGU+. LGU+ is using Forsk's Atoll for the planning and deployment of its 5G network. Forsk has provided LGU+ with Atoll licenses, system set-up and user training.
