Fortumo and the global Over-the-Top(OTT) music streaming service Deezer announce the launch of a new direct carrier billing partnership.

With the partnership, Deezer users with a Premium account or Family plan can have the plan charged to their mobile bill. This new payment option is now available to Deezer users in Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia.

Fortumo’s carrier billing is through Hosted DCB. The key features of Hosted DCB include:

 - Direct integration with telcos, giving merchants access to the latest features of carrier billing, such as dynamic pricing and automated refunds

 - Scalability, as only one integration with Fortumo is required to launch multiple telcos, compared to merchants integrating each telco one by one

 - The payment flows are managed by Fortumo, which means merchants do not need to deal with localization or compliance issues

 - Carrier billing with new telcos and in additional countries can be added without any additional development required by merchants

Andrea Boetti, VP of Global Development, Fortumo
Carrier billing is tailored for acquiring and converting users on mobile devices and we are excited to partner up with Deezer to increase their presence in the Asia Pacific.
