euroShell Cards, a Dutch subsidiary of the Shell group has acquired 15 percent of the European Toll4Europe, an electronic toll service provider that is controlled by Deutsche Telekom.

Formed in 2017, Toll4Europe is a joint venture between T-Systems International, Daimler and DKV Euro Service. Toll4Europe wants to make it easier for transport or logistics customers with heavy goods vehicles in the European road network in the future.

Following euroShell’s 15-percent-acquisition, T-Systems (subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom AG) will continue to lead the venture and hold 55 percent of the shares. The Telekom partners Daimler, DKV and euroShell each hold 15 percent of the shares in the company.
