StarHub announced that its mobile prepaid customers will be able to enjoy free local outgoing calls every day as long as they have an active data plan – a first in Singapore.
Heavy users can look forward to saving over $20 in daily call charges without needing to activate yet another premium value-added service, said StarHub.
Using StarHub’s Happy Prepaid app, customers can choose between six prepaid data plans. The most affordable plan at $2 provides customers with 30MB and free outgoing calls for three days, while the $8 mid-tier option adds 1GB and free outgoing calls for seven days. Customers who select the $25 plan will get 5GB and free outgoing calls for 30 days.
Even when they run out of data, customers can continue having extended phone conversations till their data plan expires. For example: A customer, who uses up his/her 5GB 30-day plan on the tenth day, will still be able to enjoy the free outgoing call benefits for the remaining 20 days.
