EE Launches Two New G.fast 'Fiber Max' Plans Image Credit: EE

EE has introduced two new broadband plans to its home broadband portfolio, Fibre Max 1 (average download speed 145Mbps, average upload speed 28Mbps) and Fibre Max 2 (average download speed 300Mbps, average upload speed 47Mbps).

The new Fibre Max plans that use G.fast technology are perfect for downloading and streaming HD and 4K UHD videos, says EE. With 10 connected devices in the average UK home, and more being added all the time, households are using the internet more than ever and seamless, ultrafast connectivity is becoming increasingly important.

Available online, in store and over the phone, Fibre Max 1 costs £42 per month and Fibre Max 2 costs £47 per month, both on an 18-month contract with unlimited usage.

Subscribers can also bundle EE TV for an additional £8 per month and for a limited time. New and upgrading customers who sign up to the new plans will also receive free set-up (usually £50), says EE. In addition, existing customers who upgrade by the 25th July will also receive a free BT Whole Home Wi-Fi (worth £199), delivering seamless high-speed Wi-Fi all around the home using a supercharged ‘mesh’ network.
