M1 announced the launch of three new initiatives to corporate customers. The new network and technology will enable corporate customers of all sizes to leverage technology to improve their competitiveness and operational efficiency.

The enhanced corporate connectivity rollouts are:

The new symmetric PON service enables M1 to deliver highly reliable, low-latency symmetrical 10Gbps upload and download speeds with guaranteed bitrates islandwide. Enterprises can then leverage on this connectivity for cloud computing, software defined networking (SDN), 4K/8K video transfers, and other applications.

•           M1 fibre to the building: M1 has expanded its fibre network to buildings in Shenton Way, Orchard Road and Buona Vista. The state-of-the-art fibre network with full redundancy capability, will enable M1 to offer its own high speed corporate connectivity services to more than 55 shopping malls, offices and commercial buildings in those areas.

•           Unified operations monitoring centre (UOMC): M1 customers will be able to tap on its next-generation UOMC for real-time information for not just network services, but also IT infrastructure in both private and public cloud.
