iPass has extended its partnership with SITA, the world’s leading specialist in air transport communications and information technology, to offer its iPass SmartConnect global Wi-Fi connectivity services through SITA’s dedicated online air travel marketplace, Marketplace.aero.

Marketplace.aero’s more than 2,500 small and medium-sized airline and airport customers around the world are now able to enquire about iPass SmartConnect through an online portal and receive support to purchase.

Later in 2017, customers will be able to purchase iPass SmartConnect through a secure, digital checkout platform. The service will enable air travel businesses to offer their employees simple, secure, always-on access on any mobile device to the iPass Wi-Fi network.

The service ensures that employees stay connected regardless of the country they are in, allowing them to access critical online business applications, such as email, flight, crew and weather apps, and even schedule emergency cover, without running up large and unexpected costs.
