EE has launched a new student* offer which provides 500MB of free data per month to new, upgrading or existing eligible pay monthly mobile customers who are UK university students.

EE said students who are on or sign up for an eligible 24 month EE pay monthly handset or 12 month SIM only voice, text and data plan will not only be able to stream, browse and play without the worry of going over their allowance, but with WiFi Calling4G Calling and free WiFi on London Underground they can also stay connected to friends and family in more places.

The additional 500MB of data per month can be used once a student has used their plan’s inclusive data allowance to provide ‘data safety net’ – giving them a free boost that can be used each month as they wish.

UK university students can also combine the offer with EE’s existing student discount, allowing customers who join or upgrade via ee.co.uk to receive 20% off pay monthly handset or 12-month SIM only mobile plans.

*Students need to be registered with student network UNiDAYS to be eligible, and submit thier unique UNiDAYS code to activate the offer.
