Mobistar, KPN, BASE Company and Proximus have reached an agreement to settle all outstanding litigation related to the practice of applying mobile tariffs. The settlement agreement involves payment of an amount of EUR 120 million of which EUR 66 million is paid to BASE Company and EUR 54 million to Mobistar.

This brings to an end a longstanding claim that has been launched by BASE Company and Mobistar. In 2003 BASE Company and Mobistar launched a claim against Belgium telecom firm Proximus relating to the practice of applying tariffs from the past for mobile telecommunication services that are differentiated between on-net and off-net voice communications.
