Network Exposure Function or NEF is designed to perform as an API gateway to enable external parties to engage the 5G network directly under predefined connectivity conditions. Introducing this capability opens the 5G network to allow partners and selected Third Parties to capture value from the network in new and exciting ways. This will, in turn, transform business strategy in the network space and redefine the mobile service opportunity.
