Romtelecom and Cosmote Rebrand as Telekom Romania, Marking Deutsche Telekom's Expansion in Europe

Today, Romtelecom, the largest telecommunications company in Romania and COSMOTE, Romanian mobile phone operator officially become Telekom Romania, joining the Deutsche Telekom's (DT) worldwide family. This marks a direct entry of DT into Romanian telecoms market, a transition from its current indirect ownership in Romtelecom and Cosmote, via the Greek group . Both companies will communicate under the Telekom brand, where the official trademark will be the “T” logo.  

The newly integrated companies under a single roof, www.telekom.rowill deliver a unified customer experience from a single point of contact and provide commercial offers via integrated fixed and mobile shops and a unified call-center. Customers of this entities will enjoy integrated Telekom products and services, a multi-screen TV concept and unique all-inclusive offers.

Romanians are invited to launch the Telekom Romania brand via interactive events, taking place on September 13 in the capital of Bucharest as well as in the big cities of Cluj and Iasi, while a special event will also be hosted in Berlin.
