Bouygues Denied Receiving Bids for Telecoms Unit

Bouygues, France's third largest mobile operator on Monday issued a statement that no third party had made an offer for its telecoms business and it is continuing the implementation of its transformation plan announced on 11 June 2014 aimed at securing an independent future.

Bouygues publishes this news in response to Iliad(Free)'s surprise bid to take over T-Mobile US and subsequent interview by Xavier Niel (Iliad's founder) with Wall Street Journal on this move and the consolidation of France's domestic telecom market.
