Leading mobile operator in Kuwait, VIVA has posted a net profit of KD 32.8 (USD107.9) million for the nine-month period to September 30, on the back of total revenues of KD 204 (USD671.4) million, recording a strong growth of 17% compared to the same period last year. The operator delivered strong operational performance at all business levels with a net profit of KD 32.8 million, an increase of 12% compared to the same period last year. The Operator's customer base increased by 1% reaching 2.4 million by the end of the reporting period compared to the first nine months of last year. 

With the results, VIVA was able to maintain its position as the second largest telecom operator in the Kuwaiti market in term of subscribers and revenues. At the same time, VIVA has also expanded its commercial presence across Kuwait with 70 branches throughout the country.

The positive indicators reflected by the nine-month period 2015 financial results met our goals, reaffirming the company's effective strategy skilfully implemented throughout its operations while safeguarding shareholder equity and ensuring the highest return for them. VIVA was able to accomplish this growth in an extremely competitive telecom market in Kuwait.
