Amdocs Posts Higher Revenue, Adds Bell Canada for Convergent Charging

Amdocs reported a lower profit on a higher revenue of $902.5 million in its results for the fiscal third quarter (Q3) ending June 30, 2014. Its revenue rose by 7.3% compared to the same period a year ago. Amdocs highlighted record revenue in the emerging markets, reflecting the progression of highly complex transformation projects towards production.

In its statement, Amdocs said that it is gaining market traction in North America, supporting customers in their strategic initiatives. Amdocs also announced that Bell Canada has selected Amdocs Convergent Charging to support Bell's converging lines of business.

We are on-track to deliver full year revenue growth towards the mid-point of our previously guided range of 5% to 8%. This outlook naturally reflects many moving parts, including with respect to consolidation activity amongst North American wireless and Pay TV operators."
