The company targets to have 2.5 million 4G subscribers and aims to have 60% of dtac customers using mobile internet by the end of this year.
Lars-Åke Norling, dtac CEO
We expect our 4G subscriber base to reach 2.5 million by the end of 2015. Currently, the overall average data usage of dtac users is 4.2 GB per person per month, and 1.75 million of our total subscribers already have 4G-capable smartphones. So, we plan to further stimulate the market to get all customers with 4G-ready smartphones to start using 4G service by the end of 2015. 2015 will be another year of dtac success that dtac sets an ambitious goal to gain 2.5 million 4G users by the end of the year. dtac has got the momentum to leap for the next big things..
