Online Presence and Internet-Of-Everything Open Up $460 Billion Potential Revenues

According to a Zogby Analytics poll commissioned by Cisco, online presence and  Internet of Everything (IoE) opens up opportunity worth more than $460 billion over the next 10 years. It also shows that the new tech-savvy shoppers, making up nearly 50% of all Americans, overwhelmingly looking for ways to use smartphones and the Internet to save time and money while shopping in stores. The survey also finds that stores score higher preference when they offer free Wi-Fi, apps for smartphones, the ability to order out-of-stock items while in a store and digital couponing. Availability of Smartphone apps or other forms of online store are another factor for more than 60 percent of tech-savvy shoppers to visit a shop or a store.
