EE is tapping into the data market with its latest offer - free 1G of data on 3G for every top-up of 10 Pounds on Orange's pay-as-you-go Voice Plan. A perfect strategy to onboard more data subscribers, the offer is launched with engaging commercials, starring EE's brand ambassador and A-list Hollywood actor, Kevin Bacon, who has worked with EE on its earlier commercials, promoting EE's 4G and iPhone5 offers. EE operates UK's biggest 3G network and also the high speed 4G network. Being part of the same group, UK's T-Mobile and Orange operate on EE's 3G network allowing their subscribers to upgrade their plans to EE's 4G. Kevin's appearance on Orange's commercial and the use of aqua brand colour across all the 3 brands in the group will make it easier for subscribers to identify EE as part of the same network and is expected to boost data subscription on EE's 4G network. The commercials campaign will run from Monday 29 July, until late September, across TV, OOH, press and digital display in UK.

Spencer McHugh, Director of Brand at EE, said: “Kevin Bacon has been a big hit with our EE audience and he’s back in this instalment of our summer campaign to help push the Orange ‘shed load of data’ deal. Orange plans are an important part of the EE offering and the new creative helps show off the amazing data deals that you can get on 3G with Orange pay-as-you-go.”
