Vic Bhagat was named as the Chief Information Officer of Verizon Enterprise Solutions to drive technology strategy and align IT with corporate objectives across the division. He is tasked to focus on bringing a new level of efficiency to the enterprise unit as it accelerates its effort on delivering the best customer experience in the industry.
In addition, Bhagat’s team will design and deliver the next-generation of integrated enterprise communications solutions that will provide incremental value to clients in an agile, trusted manner.
As a 30-year industry veteran, Bhagat most recently served as the executive vice president and chief information officer for EMC, where he was responsible for leading their IT transformation and overseeing their global centers of excellence that led to the delivery of IT as a service.
Prior to his role at EMC, Bhagat served at GE for more than 20 years, where he was CIO for multiple organizations, including GE Aviation Services, GE Global Growth and Operations, CNBC, GE Corporate, and GE India and Southeast Asia.
