Zain Group, a leading mobile network operator in the Middle East and Africa, announces the appointment of Kuwaiti national, Eaman Al Roudhan as the CEO of Zain Kuwait. Al Roudhan will succeed Omar Al Omar who will be supporting the Zain Group CEO in a senior advisory role to transform the company into an integrated digital lifestyle operator.
The appointment of Al Roudhan marks the first appointment of a woman to a CEO role within the Zain Group.
Al Roudhan brings over 20 years of experience to the position, 18 years of which were spent in various executive management and leadership roles within Zain Kuwait as well as several Zain Group affiliates. Prior to her new appointment, Al Roudhan was the Chief Regulatory Officer of the group. She holds a BSc in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Kuwait University and has attended programs at Tokyo Institute of Technology (TIT), and executive programs at Harvard Business School.
