TeliaSonera, today announced that the Operator is combining its commercial and technology groups into a new unit. The company said that it has started searching for a new  EVP (Executive Vice President) to head the combined unit. The realignment will also see the setting up of a steering board with the overall strategic responsibility for Europe and Sweden, while focusing on the new generation telco agenda and its home markets.

“We are maximizing and aligning our commercial and technology agendas in order to fully leverage our strengths as a Group. This will bring our operations even closer to the customers, ensure faster time to market and delivery on our transformation agenda”, says Johan Dennelind, President and CEO, TeliaSonera.
