Big data analytics startup, Guavus has appointed Tim Dyer as its new senior vice president of sales. In his new role, Dyer will be responsible for global sales of Guavus' analytics applications for improved operational efficiencies and new revenue opportunities.

Dyer brings with him over 25 years working in the telecommunications industry, having served big companies, including ConteXtream ,Nominum, Tellabs and Lucent. In ConteXtream which is a Hewlett Packard company, Dyer was responsible for the sale and deployment of the software defined networking (SDN) technology to multiple multi-national tier-1 communications service providers. Apart from this, Dyer also developed global technology partnerships and resale channels with local and global resellers and systems integrators.
