Cloud computing firm, Citrix Systems, Wednesday announced that the company’s long time president and chief executive officer, Mark Templeton will be retiring. Citrix said that Mark will continue to serve his current position until a successor is appointed. The Citrix Board has initiated a CEO search process and has retained Heidrick & Struggles, a leading executive search firm, to assist with the process of identifying and evaluating candidates. The company also announced plans to appoint Jesse Cohn of Elliott Management to its board of directors.

During the second quarter announcement, the company announced that it is in talks with buyers to sell the ByteMobile businesses that it acquired in 2012 as part of a major restructuring initiative. Citrix ByteMobile Adaptive Traffic Management solution helps to improve mobile network efficiency with video caching and TCP optimization.
