Guavus, a leading provider of big data analytics solutions for operational intelligence, has announced that Gabriele Di Piazza has joined as Senior Vice President, Marketing and David Nicholas as Senior Vice President Sales, Cable & Media. Di Piazza brings more than 20 years of enterprise global technology and expertise in marketing, product management and business development to Guavus.

Most recently, Di Piazza was General Manager of Hewlett-Packard Marketing Optimization where he was responsible for HP's Autonomy Digital Experience Management products. Prior to Hewlett-Packard, Gabriele led worldwide marketing for the Operator Channels group at Microsoft, where he had also been responsible for Microsoft's Media & Entertainment business and led global business development for media solutions in wireless carriers. Prior to Microsoft, Gabriele spent 11 years at HP in different roles in the Communications & Media industries, related to marketing & solutions management in OSS/BSS/Contact Center/Rich Media/IPTV.

Nicholas brings more than 30 years of experience in the CATV and Media verticals, including demonstrable performance selling to tier-one multiple service operators (MSOs). Prior to joining Guavus, David was Senior Vice President Sales for Alticast, a leading supplier of CPE software solutions to both MSOs and OEM partners.
