Stephen C.Gray Announced as the Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of Syniverse

Syniverse, the leading global transaction processor that connects more than 1,500 mobile service providers, enterprises, ISPs and OTTs in nearly 200 countries and territories, has named Stephen C. Gray as the Interim President and Chief Executive Officer. Gray replaces Jeffrey S.Gordon who is stepping down as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director, effective immediately. 

According to Syniverse, Gray began his stint in Syniverse as a member of the Board of Directors following the company's acquisition by The Carlyle Group in January 2011. As an Operating Executive with Carlyle’s Global Telecommunications, Media and Technology Group, he brings with him more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and currently serves on the Board of Directors of CommScope, Inc. and as Chairman of ImOn Communications, LLC, SecurityCoverage, Inc., Involta, LLC, and HH Ventures, LLC (d/b/a, ReadyWireless).

Syniverse said that its board will commence a search for a permanent CEO immediately and that  Gray will continue to be a member of the company’s Board of Directors.
