Her portfolio in Fortinet will cover its marketing strategy and operations including Fortinet's field, channel and social/digital marketing initiatives.

Tierney's expertise and experience in marketing is well noted in the industry. Prior to this appointment, Tierney was the VP of Global Partner Marketing at Juniper Networks where she delivered the most innovative partner marketing in the industry, said Forrestor. Other high profile roles held by Tierney includes her position at Cisco Systems where she pioneered the first industry global program that transitioned partners from traditional marketing to social media. Tierney's appointment is expected to drive Fortinet's initiatives on sales and market expansion.
