PeerApp, Newton based, leading Content Delivery Network (CDN) solution provider has recently named Gadi Tamari as the new CEO, succeeding Robert Mayer. Tamari has served as PeerApp's Chairman of the Board for the last four years.

Gadi Tamari brings more than 35 years of experience to the role of CEO at PeerApp. As CEO and board director of Radvision (RVSN), Tamari oversaw the doubling of revenues and quadrupling of company value. Tamari also served as a vice president at Lucent Technologies (LU) where he was responsible for global sales of the next generation Softswitch. Before that, Tamari was the COO of Excel Switching (XLSW) prior to the company's acquisition by Lucent.

I want to thank Robert Mayer for his many significant contributions to the company during his tenure as founder and CEO. PeerApp is best positioned to deliver on this vision, leveraging more than one thousand successful deployments all over the world, together with the strategic partnerships we forged across the content delivery and broadband ecosystems."
