Rami Avidan Leaves Tele2 IoT to Head Deutsche Telekom's IoT Business

Deutsche Telekom announced the appointment of Rami Avidan, most recently CEO of Tele2 IoT, as Senior Vice President of Internet of Things (IoT) of enterprise customer unit, taking over from Ingo Hofacker, who started the new IoT business division at T-Systems two years ago.

Rami Avidan served as CEO of Tele2 IoT until September 2018. Over the last six years, he built up the IoT division for the Swedish telecommunications company. During his time in charge, Tele2 IoT became one of the leading IoT Mobile Network Operators (MNO) in the world – as recognized by leading analysts. With a team of around 200 IoT experts, he created outstanding technical solutions and achieved entrepreneurial success in the young IoT industry after only a short time.

Before joining Tele2 in 2013, Rami Avidan held various leadership positions at telecommunications and IT security companies, such as Wyless Group and Cryptzone Group.
