OSS was doing a good job capturing all the network data, so why is the telco space abuzz with so much talk about the need for more robust Telco Analytics? It probably has to do with keeping subscribers happy, like knowing what they really want and giving it to them – like sending selected subscribers a 5-day Facebook pass for USD1 as their data runs out because analytics picks up the fact that they love Facebook and are nearing their quota thresholds. What say?
