Voice, data, VoLTE, WiFi calling, mobile TV, mobile wallet, roaming plans, WiFi passes, etc. – all require user profiles, and more services will mean more profiles. Can't they be converged? Yes, they can, but it requires the overhaul of the existing subscriber database management platform and probably a lot of integration work with legacy systems. Worth the hassle? Yes? No?
