Mobile app acceleration startup, Neumob announced that it has launched its servers in Malaysia and Vietnam to support the exploding Southeast Asian mobile ecosystem as it continues its rapid global expansion. The company boasts presence in 46 metropolitan areas around the world, including over a dozen each already in both Europe and North America.

Neumob claims that its Neumob Accelerator boosts mobile app performance by 2-10 times, whether the app’s users are hyper-local in one city or located around the world. Developers simply install 2 lines of code into their app, and instantly gain access to Neumob’s world-class, 50-POP global app acceleration network.

The goal of the company’s presence in Southeast Asia is to work with companies and developers to speed up load times and performance for the most popular apps in the region - like WhatsApp Messenger, Facebook and Instagram - and local apps created in these countries. Along with these launches, Neumob is deploying an additional point of presence in Taipei to further the company’s Asia expansion.

Jeff Kim, CEO, Neumob
Users in Southeast Asia are abandoning apps at an astounding rate, because they load too slowly on 2G, 3G, 4G and even WiFi networks.
