At the recent CTIA, Aptilo announced that the company is expanding its operations in the Americas. This expansion comes on the heels of Aptilo’s 14th Stadium Wi-Fi win in North America, and a deployment enabling carrier Wi-Fi services for a large service provider in Canada.

The company also announced several key hires and a consolidation of its US-based operations to meet the growing demand for carrier Wi-Fi in the region. José Farias joins Aptilo as Director of Sales of Latin America while John Robinson has been named Director of Sales, North America. Farias and Robinson will be based in Aptilo’s regional office in Dallas, Texas and will both report to Jacobsson. The consolidation of its Americas operations which is aimed at streamlining the sales-deployment cycle will see the company bringing the regional sales and support teams together in its Dallas office, added Aptilo.

Jonas Jacobsson, Vice President, Sales, Americas, Aptilo Networks
