Italtel, a leading telecommunications company in next generation networks and services and IP communication has signed a mutual partnership with Tech Mahindra, an India-based multinational company specializing in IT services and solutions to expand its IT portfolio, including its catalogue of products and solutions to service providers and enterprises. The partnership will also cover Tech Mahindra's Operation Support Systems (OSS) and Business Support Systems (BSS) portfolios.

The partnership will expand Tech Mahindra's presence in Italy and allows the company to leverage Italtel’s market footprint in the region. At an international level, Italtel will use Tech Mahindra’s global coverage to expand the geographical boundaries of its market activities and increase sales of proprietary products and professional services, particularly in the Europe, APAC and MEA regions.

Stefano Pileri, CEO, Italtel
The agreement with Tech Mahindra is particularly important for us. From an industrial perspective it allows us to accelerate the development of our portfolio and time to market, both crucial factors in a highly competitive market. For a player like us, with a very strong footprint in the network and infrastructure segments, the agreement is intended to expand our presence in IT, a sector which is gaining more and more relevance in regards to the evolution of networks towards virtualization.

Sandeep Phadke, Head of Continental Europe, Tech Mahindra
The partnership with Italtel is absolutely strategic for Tech Mahindra. It comprises two parts; faster product engineering and joint go-to-market for some of the largest strategic customers in Italy. The combination of Italtel and Tech Mahindra is unique in the industry because not only does it bring together Telecommunications and IT, but also a deep understanding of the Italian market.
