Salesforce has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Troops.ai, a leading provider of a revenue communications solution used to improve sales velocity, forecasting, visibility, and collaboration across teams.

Upon the closing of the acquisition, Troops will become part of Slack, a Salesforce company. The Troops team has spent more than seven years designing tools that deliver real-time insights from systems of record like Salesforce to systems of engagement like Slack, bringing together the information and actions that customer-facing teams need to close new deals and support existing customers.

Companies of every size and every industry are using Slack and Salesforce to power their Digital HQ in today’s digital-first world. By connecting their employees, customers, partners, tools, and workflows on a single platform strengthened by powerful integrations, teams benefit from a shared view of their customers and projects, and can act on real-time insights — right where they are already working.

Salesforce’s acquisition of Troops is expected to close in the second quarter of Salesforce’s fiscal year 2023 (ending July 31, 2022), subject to customary closing conditions.
