With Digital Transformation World 2022 taking place this week, Ariana Lynn, Senior Editor at The Fast Mode spoke to Steve Dalby, Industry Solutions Director at MongoDB in a brief interview on the company's plans for this year's event.

Ariana: Which summit will MongoDB be participating in?

Steve: MongoDB will be supporting this year's event as an exhibitor, stop by booth 239 on the quad to find out more about our data developer platform and how it can help to make data your biggest asset. The Pac Man socks aren't a bad reason to stop by either. Our team will also be spending time listening to some of the industry leaders in the Data & AIOps Summit sessions - as well as participating in a few discussions ourselves to understand what our peers are doing, the challenges organisations are having and how we can help.

Ariana: What are some of the key announcements we can expect from MongoDB at the event?

Steve: In addition to our data developer platform and the feautres that were released earlier this summer in version 6.0, we are also keen to discuss a new IDC paper, about how data management is a crucial part of 5G adoption. In the paper, IDC outlines the major data challenges and complexities derived from advanced network architectures, and we highlight some of the ways the document model and MongoDB can help solve these. We will also have copies of the paper at our booth for attendees to take home.

Ariana: What will be MongoDB's major showcases?

Steve: MongoDB Atlas, our multi-cloud developer data platform, is at the center of how we believe we can help organisations at the event to tackle their data challenges, build modern applications faster and easily transform their infrastructure for innovation. Atlas covers a wide range of use cases, giving organisations the power and versatility to build a wide variety of applications without creating large amounts of technical debt. It also included transactional processing, relevance-based search, and in-app analytics in an elegant and integrated data architecture.

Ariana: How does it feel to be back physically at DTW 2022? What’s your Copenhagen experience?

Steve: Over the past few years we have all adapted and there are so many benefits to virtual events, but you can't replace the electricity of face-to-face interaction. Being at the event. we're really excited to have the chance to meet new people in Copenhagen and get into the details of how we can really help them.
