Canadian Multi-Service Operator, Videotron which boasts over 1.5 million Digital TV subcribers released a new app for Apple Watch - illico - to provide Apple Watch customers a new way to explore content and control their TV experience at the touch of a finger. The illico app for Apple Watch includes a Flip function which lets users flip between channels within a given genre (music, sports, children’s, movies, etc.) and find the right content from Videotron's vast selection of live channels, be it a TV show or a background music.
Tech-happy users can also use one-click control provided on the App to fast forward, rewind or pause any show, on a live channel or video-on-demand. The illico app for Apple Watch is available for free download from the Apple Watch App Store while the iPhone version is available on the App Store.
