Flash Networks Buys Mobixell Networks to Dominate Mobile Data Optimization

Flash Networks, a global provider of intelligent mobile Internet solutions that enable operators to improve quality of experience, reduce network operational expenses and manage and monetize the mobile Internet, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Mobixell to further enhance its potfolio into mobile data management, network optimization, and rich media delivery solutions. This will enable Flash Networks to offer operators best-of-breed mobile web and video optimization and monetization services to meet the growing demand for data optimization, acceleration, and monetization services following the explosive growth of new consumer devices, rich multimedia content, and high speed 3G, 4G, and LTE networks. According to some sources in the industry, the deal is estimated at $10-20 million.
