Netcracker Technology, Tuesday announced that it has been selected to upgrade and extend its relationship with SmarTone, a leading Operator in Hong Kong and Macau. As part of the agreement, Netcracker will upgrade its Revenue Management Solution for the Operator. 

SmarTone provides voice, multimedia and mobile broadband services through its territory-wide 4G network and fixed-fiber broadband services for both consumer and corporate markets. 

According to Netcracker, the upgrade of Netcracker’s Revenue Management solution, which is SmarTone’s primary convergent billing platform, will help the service provider transform its eCommerce business, improve customer experience and futureproof its IT infrastructure. It also marks a major milestone in SmarTone’s objective to leverage a converged rating, charging and billing platform, said Netcracker.
