Ecuadorian operator CNT has selected Aptilo Networks to enable Wi-Fi services across the country.

CNT is leveraging the Aptilo Service Management Platform(SMP) to deliver and manage carrier-class Wi-Fi services. With Aptilo SMP, CNT is positioned to deploy the best carrier Wi-Fi solution in the market with a strategic migration path to incorporate Wi-Fi offloading (EAP-SIM) and Wi-Fi calling in the upcoming phases, said Aptilo.

According to Aptilo, the solution enables operators to develop multiple strategies to market their Wi-Fi services to their audiences, selling attractive B2B and B2B2C services to hotels, stadiums, government agencies and private companies as well as offering Wi-Fi services directly to subscribers.

Cesar Regalado, CEO, CNT
This nationwide deployment brings carrier Wi-Fi services to the Ecuador population and will be the first of its kind. It is a strategic project that positions CNT as the service provider of choice for the country.

Paul Mikkelsen, CEO, Aptilo Networks
It is well-known among carriers that Wi-Fi services are a key component to their future growth and increased profitability, driven by increased customer satisfaction, reduced churn and new business revenue generation. We have seen this across Latin America as we continue our rapid expansion in the region.
